All of the CCIE Collaboration vRacks are structured to model the iPexpert CCIE Collaboration product topology consisting of 2900 series ISR routers (including Frame Relay switch, PSTN router, Terminal Server, and Backbone routers), Catalyst switches (3750 and ESW Modules), 11 virtual servers, 7 remote 7965 and 9971 IP phones (with support for your own additional test phones).  We also guarantee that all software, including UC applications and IOS are up to date and match that of the real lab.  In addition, the control panel interface is guaranteed provide an intuitive, user-friendly experience. 

Not only is the hardware, software, and control panel interface the best available option for CCIE Collaboration study, it is also supported 24x7 by an elite group of technical support representatives who are just a phone call or instant-message away.

The Remote Control Tools System allows students to maximize study time by running the normally tedious setup tasks with little user intervention. Current clients are impressed by the customized graphical user interface that allows full access and control of the devices in the vRack.

Remote Control Tools in the User Interface:

  • All routers, switches, and servers can be controlled via the web with the GUI remote control system.
  • Clients will not waste time on the racks—when clients begin a session, they will be able to choose the lab scenario they are working on (Volume 1 & 2 Workbooks, or the ILT 5-day and OWLE Labs if clients have previously taken one of the courses), and pre-load all configurations specific to that particular lab scenario.  THIS INCLUDES loading VMWare snapshots to enable new 'base" pre-configuration for each of the servers (many labs have differing server and router base pre-configurations from other labs).
  • Web based support for the use of clients own Hardware Phones—INCLUDING the PSTN Phone—just enter the phone MAC Address into the website and click "Apply". 
  • Dynamically switch the PSTN signaling type in real-time between E1 PRI and E1 R2 CAS with just the click of a button.  Clients can go above and beyond to practice a protocol such as CAS even if PRI might be the predominant protocol in a given lab.
  • SSH/HTTP/RDP access to all VMWare virtual servers (CUCM, CUC, UCCX, IM&P, DNS/LDAP) within the pod, with ability to start, stop, and revert to clean configuration.
  • Each device can be power-cycled by the RPC (Remote Power Control) system with a click of a button.
  • Single Page Login (no need to telnet to rack's terminal server). Login and begin using the online hardware instantly.
  • Session Management (view scheduled time and reschedule without human intervention).

Hardware Details:

  • EACH of our 24 Voice Racks is identical, and completely independent of each other rack (NO equipment sharing at all).
  • EACH rack has 2900 series ISR routers for all branches, with the PSTN using a 2800 series router.
  • EACH rack is equipped with its OWN PSTN switch that supports multiple, dynamic dial-plans based on lab scenario.
  • EACH rack is equipped with a Catalyst 3750 switch.
  • EACH rack is equipped with a 4-port Etherswitch Module.
  • EACH rack has three 9971 and four 7965 IP phones (you can connect your IP phones as well).
  • EACH rack has a Unified Communications Manager 9.1.1 Publisher Server at HQ, Site B, and the Backbone.
  • EACH rack has a Unified Communications Manager 9.1.1 Subscriber Server at HQ.
  • EACH rack has a Unity Connection 9.1.1 Server at HQ, Site B, and the Backbone.
  • EACH rack has a Unified IM & Presence 9.1.1 Server at HQ, Site B, and the Backbone.
  • EACH rack has a Unified Contact Center Express 9.0.2 Server at HQ.
  • EACH rack has Frame Relay, Fast Ethernet, T1, and E1 technologies
  • All routers run 15.2 IOS.
