During the week students will tackle challenging full-day mock labs Monday through Thursday. Students will practice time management, learn test taking strategies and expose any weaknesses in order to resolve them before the lab exam. On the final day of the course, the instructor will review the progress students made on each lab and help plan a strategy to improve any areas of weakness.
During each day of the labs, the Instructor will act as a proctor by providing clarification in the same manner the proctor will during the certification lab exam to best replicate the actual CCIE R&S Lab environment. Students will be challenged to think problems through without having the solution provided, which is an important part in preparation training.

IPexpert's Online TOnline Troubleshooting Bootcamp for Cisco's CCIE R&S Lab, delivered via IPexpert's Industry-recognized Online-HD-ILT™ training solution, is designed for CCIE candidates who are planning on sitting the CCIE R&S lab exam. The course will help students understand how to work through the Troubleshooting section of the lab exam. At the end of the class you will be able to proficiently complete the Troubleshooting section utilizing the taught methodology.
This course consists of a combination of digital whiteboard (PDF snapshots provided at the end of each day) and hands-on demonstration, including terminal work and Wireshark captures to demonstrate the protocol operation. It consists of a series of interactive troubleshooting tickets, covering a wide range of topics from a CCIE R&S blueprint.
The course is delivered in five 4-hour sessions (Monday-Friday). All days will be recorded and made available to you in Video on Demand format.
For each ticket, the following scenario will unfold:
- Tickets will be presented and explained using wording similar to what can be expected on the real lab exam.
- Your instructor will lead a group troubleshooting effort, where students will attempt to analyze and resolve a presented issue.
- After either a successful or unsuccessful troubleshooting session, a detailed solution will be provided by the instructor.
- An explanation of finer points tested by a presented ticket will be explained in detail by the instructor.
- What-if scenarios will be explored at the end.
