Kevin Downes brings over 13 years of experience designing and supporting various network infrastructures. Kevin has also held engineering management positions with 2 large-scale consulting corporations, International Network Services (INS) and Enterprise Networking Services - Formerly Netigy, Inc. (ENS). Kevin has a wide range of past experience including Banyan Vines®, Novell®, Cisco® Routers and Switches, Bay Routers, IBM® Routers, Cascade Frame Relay Switches, ATM, Cisco® and NetSpeed DSLAM technology (ADSL and DSL), and most recently SONET and Optical Networking. Kevin has been published on multiple topics which include "Cisco® CLCS Exam Certification Guide", "Cisco® Systems Internetworking Design Guide", "Cisco® Systems Internetworking Troubleshooting handbook" and "Cisco® ACRC Exam Certification Guide". He has also written various articles for the Banyan Vines Technical Journal and Enterprise Networking magazine on topics ranging from IPV6, Private Network Addressing (NAT & PAT), SNA, Cisco® Routers and Designing Large Scale Mobile Access Networks.
